Sixty-One Sights is a performative act conducted in Grand Theft Auto 5. Following strict rules, I photographed the time between sunrise and sunset while standing on the top of Mount Chiliad.
Throughout the process, I made notes on the project where I reflected on my real-world physical experience and what my mood and attitude was that day.
The project consists of ten photographic prints on archival matte paper, each a composite time-lapse image made from the sixty photographs made during the act. The work also consists of three videos recording the passage of sunrise and sunset with the presence of the game’s three protagonists. And finally, an installation of a Macbook Pro that only shows the videos overlaid the public Flickr gallery that contains all photographs made throughout the process.
